In January 2015, Sysco’s Dynamics CRM team joined the Regulation and Quality Improvement Authority (RQIA) – Northern Ireland’s independent health and social care regulator, at the official launch of its Microsoft Dynamics CRM implementation (branded iConnect internally). Following a public tender exercise for its customer relationship management (CRM) implementation, RQIA selected Microsoft Dynamics CRM, with Sysco Software as the implementation partner.

RQIA made a decision early on to go for Microsoft Dynamics, due to its flexibility and integration possibilities with other Microsoft products. Sysco was chosen because of the team’s ability to listen and understand the unique business processes and terminology within RQIA, their understanding and experience with Microsoft Dynamics.
RQIA has 160 users of Dynamics CRM and this system is one of Sysco’s best examples of an XRM (Any Relationship Management) solution using Microsoft Dynamics. As RQIA have service providers rather than customers, the solution needed to be modified from the standard sales, marketing and customer service processes to manage the registration, inspection and enforcement processes within RQIA.
The implementation was a huge success down to excellent project management within RQIA, fantastic buy in from the staff and the great collaboration and flexible approach that came with partnering with Sysco.
