Microsoft Dynamics 365 Platform Updates
The enhancements to Microsoft Dynamics 365 applications in the April 2019 release includes hundreds of new capabilities across Sales, Marketing, Customer Service Case Management, Web Portals, Finance and Operations, Talent, and Business Central (formerly Microsoft Dynamics NAV).
An interesting new addition to Microsoft’s Enterprise offering is Microsoft Forms Pro, a brand new survey app built on top of Microsoft Forms and integrated with Dynamics 365 and Common Data Service for Apps.
The biggest news in the April 2019 release is undoubtedly the continued investment in Microsoft Dynamics 365’s artificial intelligence capabilities that leverages the power of Microsoft AI research, tools, data, and the Power Platform to help organisations transform customer service, sales, and marketing functions.
The new AI driven applications are:
- Dynamics 365 Sales Insights provides actionable insights to drive personal engagements and proactive decision-making.
- Dynamics 365 Market Insights enables business users to gather actionable insights based on what consumers say, seek, and feel about their brands and products.
- Dynamics 365 Customer Service Insights optimises the customer experience through AI enhanced analysis.
Another key point of note in the Microsoft Dynamics 365 April 2019 release signifies a key milestone for Dynamics 365.
It is the first major update where all Microsoft Dynamics 365 users are on the latest version and on a consistent update schedule. It is also a template of how major updates will be done going forward in April and October every year.
Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
